Dr. Isaac Kalua Green is an Envi­ron­men­tal­ist and Entre­pre­neur.  A pas­sion­ate Rur­al Devel­op­ment Prac­ti­tion­er and ardent entre­pre­neur in vast areas for over 30 years.

He is the Chief Stew­ard of Green Africa Foun­da­tion, an orga­ni­za­tion that was found­ed in the year 2000 that cham­pi­ons Sus­tain­able Devel­op­ment in Africa.

He is a cher­ished Thought Leader, a Strate­gist on mat­ters of Nat­ur­al Cap­i­tal, and a Colum­nist on Sus­tain­able Devel­op­ment Goals.

Dr. Kalua Green is an inno­v­a­tive social entre­pre­neur of Inter­na­tion­al repute with inter­ests in the Auto­mo­tive, Hos­pi­tal­i­ty, and Fur­nish­ings, Agri-Food, and Eco-Busi­­ness sec­tors. He found­ed a num­ber of estab­lish­ments under the umbrel­la of Green Africa Group all of which endeav­or to sup­port the Green Africa Foun­da­tion to mea­sure the Impact of Trans­for­ma­tion. He is a priv­i­leged share­hold­er or Con­sul­tant in diverse and high­ly Trans­for­ma­tion­al Cor­po­rate Institutions

Leadership & Awards

Dr. Kalua Green also serves as a Trustee of The Inter­na­tion­al Lead­er­ship Uni­ver­si­ty and The Nat­ur­al Resource Forum (NAREF) an Umbrel­la body for the Nat­ur­al Cap­i­tal Sec­tor in Kenya under the Kenya Pri­vate Sec­tor Alliance (KEPSA). He Chairs the Envi­ron­ment and Sus­tain­abil­i­ty and The Motor­cy­cle Sub Sec­tor Com­mit­tee of Kenya Asso­ci­a­tion of Man­u­fac­tur­ers (KAM). He is the Found­ing Chair­per­son of the Motor­cy­cle Assem­blers Asso­ci­a­tion of Kenya (MAAK).

Because of his per­sis­tence in mat­ters of Sus­tain­able Devel­op­ment, The Pres­i­dents of the Repub­lic of Kenya have on dif­fer­ent occa­sions hon­ored him with Pres­ti­gious Nation­al Awards such as The Chief of the Order of the Burn­ing Spear (CBS), Order of The Moran of the Burn­ing Spear (MBS) and also The Head of State Com­men­da­tion (HSC).

He was appoint­ed as the Founder Chair­per­son of Kenya Water Tow­ers Agency, a State Cor­po­ra­tion that coor­di­nates the con­ser­va­tion of Water Tow­ers where he served a full term of six years.

In addi­tion, Dr. Kalua Green is a recip­i­ent of pres­ti­gious glob­al awards such as the Mil­len­ni­um Devel­op­ment Goals Ser­vice award, The Inter­na­tion­al Olympic Com­mit­tee (IOC) Sports & Envi­ron­ment Award, and The Diver­si­ty & Inclu­sion Recog­ni­tion Awards (DIAR) for his unri­valed com­mit­ment to excel­lence that has led to tan­gi­ble Trans­for­ma­tion of liveli­hoods. He was con­ferred with a Hons. Doc­tor of Phi­los­o­phy (Ph.D.) in Human­i­ties from Unit­ed Grad­u­ate Col­lege and Sem­i­nary, USA.

Life and Family

Dr. Kalua Green has a great pas­sion for devel­op­ing young tal­ents in var­i­ous spheres of entre­pre­neur­ship through a hands-on men­tor­ship program.

Ulti­mate­ly, Dr. Kalua Green is pro­found­ly inten­tion­al about his life phi­los­o­phy of work­ing towards Kind­ness to human beings, safe­guard­ing Sus­tain­able Liveli­hoods, and Pas­sion­ate Envi­ron­men­tal Conservation.

Dr. Kalua Green is a Chris­t­ian mar­ried to Susan Cherotich and blessed with three chil­dren David Kiseko, Michelle Ndunge, and Joy Musyawa.
